BAR Festival Opens with Classical Note

The Day 1 of the Bharat Ancientism Rock (BAR) Festival witnessed the age-old traditional <i>Shehnai&nbsp;</i>recital by.

Ustad Hassan Haider Khan at the inaugural session. The recital set the tune of the festival in just the best way it could be.With a mission to start a global academy for studying Ancientism IBF organised this 2-day festival. The first day, 25 February was dedicated to celebrate the legacy of ancient knowledge and treasure of Bharat, that is, India, the subcontinent, and also to put a step forward to conserve and study the rich cultural heritage of this subcontinent with reference to the ancient days. The Shehnai recital was followed by the Chant Music from the classical Sanskrit literatures by Shubhamastu, the group of lady priests, who started this charitable organisation with an effort for the better society. IBF has been happy to confer the token of appreciation to them.The Day 1 was concluded with Pandit Ramlal Mishra of Banaras gharana Sarengi artist. Later, Somali Panda, the Indian Classical vocalist and the Research Resource and honorary president of IBF joined in the recital with an impromptu Bhairavi Thumri collage.
